Typologie deutscher Angelvereine in Bezug auf das Fischbesatzverhalten (Typology of German angling clubs in relation to the use of fish stocking)

Fish stocking is a usual practice in german angling clubs to "improve" the fishing conditions in their waters. Needless to say there is impact to the water bodies in various ways. Altough the success is not 100% guaranteed, angling clubs keep stocking their water bodies mostly to satisfy the catch expectations of their members. The aim of this work is to find typologies of fish stocking in angling clubs spread over Germany with datasets from the "Besatzfisch" (stocking fish) project working at IGB Berlin (Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries)by using SPSS and cluster analysis. Main research questions deals with interest in what kind of species and how much is stocked, respectively is there any correlation in behaviour between different localised clubs within the country. Results include a mapping part overall Germany.
