Notes on Bafög
If you receive Bafög, you will find all the necessary information here.
Please note that Humboldt-Universität has agreed with the Bafögamt that 30 credit points must be earned per semester (180 CP : 6 semesters or 120 CP : 4 semesters). You can prove your academic achievement to the Bafögamt with your transcript of records. You can get this from the Examination Office.
Form 5 is only used if the required number of credit points has not been achieved and an assessment of the actual performance level is necessary.
Proof of the performance level to the Bafögamt is often required during the lecture-free period. Please note that during this time, staff members are often on holiday.
