Bachelor and Master theses: applying for a deadline extension
(1) If you require a deadline extension for your thesis submission for medical reasons, please follow these steps (further information). In addition, this form must be submitted.
(2) If an extension of the deadline is necessary for content-related reasons, please submit the following documents:
- Signed application (template) with justification
- Signed statement by the supervisor detailing which measures have already been taken to ensure completion before the deadline, why these measures were unsuccessful, and which new measures are to ensure successful completion of the thesis before the requested extended deadline
Follow-up applications are possible.
It is your duty to retain and handle research data with care. An extension will NOT be granted in case of file overwriting, loss of (external) data carriers, server errors, or similar technical problems of privately used and/or HU-external services.
