Study visits from Tanzania and Kenya

This year, we were finally able to host the study visits at Humboldt University again for 12 Master and Ph.D. students from our network partner universities in Tanzania and Kenya. After the application process, we selected three students from Ardhi University, three students from the University of Nairobi, five students from the University of Dar es Salaam, and one student from Karatina University for a semester in Berlin supported by Erasmus+ funding. In addition to their desired participation in our urban agriculture study project, the students also took other courses in geographic information systems, climatology, hydrology, social sciences, and linguistics, to name a few.
