BUA Signature Project on Urban Agriculture in Nairobi
BUA Signature Project on Urban Agriculture in Nairobi; initial project 2020-2021; follow-up project applied for 2022-2024; study projects, stakeholder workshops, long-term stays of scientists*. In the recently completed project (fieldwork in November 2021), students from Berlin and Nairobi worked on site to characterize types of urban agriculture and identify stakeholders. The follow-up project aims to identify the knowledge of stakeholders that guides action and to develop strategies for improving the urban system in cooperation with stakeholders in order to improve the income of producers and the supply of consumers.
