Franz has been a Doctoral researcher in the Earth Observation Lab and defenced his PhD in November 2021. His research focused in using remote sensing to map and quantify anthropogenic material stock patterns in the broad context of social sustainability and transformation research. He was involved in the MAT_STOCKS project.

Sam Cooper
Sam has been a Doctoral researcher in the Earth Observation Lab from 2016 till 2021. His research focused on quantitative land cover mapping and vegetation assessment using simulated hyperspectral EnMAP imagery and machine learning, while investigating potential synergies between data sources with varying spectral and temporal dimensionality. He was connected to the EnMap Core Science team Pahse III "Monitoring Vegetation under Global Change".

Andrey was Doctoral researcher at the Earth Observation Lab from 2015 on. He finished his PhD in 2019 and continued to work on a project until February 2020.
He now works at the GAF AG Headquarters in Munich.
