Research interests

I graduated with a Master's degree in Ecobiology (Sapienza University of Rome, Italy), after a Bachelor's in Environmental Science and Technology (University of Pisa, Italy). During my studies I have developed a strong interest for land spatio-temporal dynamics, ecosystem response under changing climate and land management, and Earth Observation application in ecology. I'm also particularly interested in the integration between environmental and social sciences for a better understanding of the complex human-environmental systems.

My current research focuses on assessing forest degradation in the Gran Chaco and investigating its drivers.
