About me

I am a biologist aiming to understand the impacts of human activities on wildlife populations and develop management strategies that allow and favor the sustainable use of natural resources. My work for the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA, Argentina) relates to land-use change effects on biodiversity from a Landscape Ecology approach, using quantitative modelling tools and cutting edge fieldwork techniques to assess conservation issues. My research covers several species, habitats and locations, but with a particular focus on bird and mammal communities in dynamic agricultural frontiers of the South American Chaco.
