About me

 

I am a geographer with a strong interest in landscape ecology and spatial planning. My broad research interests concerns  land-use change effects on biodiversity, spatial planning and nature conservation,  ecological networks and human-wildlife conflict around protected areas. My research aims to understand how to improving the effectiveness of protected areas with particular regard to buffer zones and also how effective it is legislation, institutional policies on nature conservation and spatial planning.  My research focus is on Poland and Central Europe.

 

Research stay at Conservation Biogeography Laboratory at the Geography Department of the Humboldt University Berlin is financed by Polish National Science Center as part of the ETIUDA project.
