Field trip to the South-American Chaco

Last month we visited the Argentinean Chaco in an epic trip through the long roads of the north of Argentina (see more). The goal of this trip was to learn about the reality of the southern Chaco, to see and feel what the expansion of intensified agricultural and livestock activities is and to meet the local experts that develop their work in this region.

The grounding of this trip is the research being initiated in our lab in the framework of the doctoral research entitled "Future land use in the South American Chaco and its effects on biodiversity".
