Field trip to the Chaco

 

Last month we visited the Argentinean Chaco in an epic trip through the long roads of the north of Argentina. In this first image you can see in yellow our round trip crossing the provinces of Chaco, Formosa,  Salta, Jujuy, Tucuman and Cordoba (clockwise and in blue). The purple line represents the ecoregions of the south-american Chaco (Bolivia, Paraguay and Argentina).

The northern area of the argentinean Chaco was a delight of green colours and fauna:

To the south of this region we saw the real intensification of the land with thousands of hectares under crop and intensive pastures:
