About me
I am a geographer interested in ecosystem state and development from a global environmental change perspective. So far, I have focused largely on Arctic landscapes, particularly on mapping the expansion of woody species at the Taiga-Tundra ecotone.
Satellite-based earth observation constitutes the main methodology for my research. In combination with statistical learning, I seek to advance the possibilities of applied remote sensing for understanding land surface dynamics across large scales.
