curriculum vitae

Education
since september 2018  PhD student at the Geography Department Humboldt  Universität zu Berlin
2014 - 2017  M.Sc. in Atmospheric Sciences, University of Innsbruck
2010 - 2014  B.Sc. in Geophysics, Karlsruher institute of Technology (KIT)

Master Thesis

Title: Lagrangian Detection of Moisture Sources for the Southern Patagonia Icefield

Supervisor: Associate Professor Georg J. Mayr and Postdoc Tobias Sauter

This thesis investigated the water vapor sources and the moisture transport from the southern patagonia icefield. The 18 day backward trajectories are based on ERA-Interim reanalysis data and include a whole climatology from 1979 to 2017. The results emphasize the interplay between large-scale atmospheric dynamics and moisture source variabilities.

Bachelor Thesis

Title: Setup and implementation of experiments to investigate the viscosity of magma

Supervisors: Professor Thomas Bohlen and Doctor Ellen Gottschämmer

A falling sphere and capillary viscometer experiment was setting up to investigate the viscosity for different fluids. The experiments enables geophysic students to determine a quantitative relation between viscosity and temperature.
