At Humboldt-Kinder-Uni (children's university), primary school pupils can attend lectures on various topics.
Lecture on altitude levels of vegetation
On September 19, 2019, Christoph Schneider gave a lecture at the Humboldt Children's University on how the plant world adapts to altitude in different mountains of the world. The "Height levels of vegetation" observed by Alexander von Humboldt were then painted by students from various schools in Berlin. The template for the artwork is available as a PDF. Further information about this and other lectures can be found in German on the website of the Kinder-Uni.
