About me
I am an Argentinian researcher, from Tucumán, very interested in social-ecological dynamics in land-use change areas. My previous researches were focused on the Argentinian Dry Chaco, a global hotspot of deforestation. During one year, I will work at the HU Berlin in the context of a post-doctoral fellowship. I'll be particularly focused on identifying the diversity of actors involved in land-use changes, and on understanding how different types of shocks impact on them, on their reliance on (and access to) natural resources, and on their mutual relationships (i.e., on the social networks). Besides, I pursue to explore their resilience to overcome shocks, to finally generate policy briefs to decision-makers, pointing out to mitigate the impacts of shocks with perspective on the social heterogeneity. While I'll be working under the supervision of PhD Tobias Kuemmerle, I would be happy if I gain new interactions to other researchers.
