About me
I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Agronomy, University of Buenos Aires. I have a degree in environmental sciences and a Ph.D. in agricultural sciences. Since my undergraduate studies, I have been motivated by interdisciplinary research driven both by curiosity and by the need to find solutions to socio-ecological challenges, particularly in the Argentine Dry Chaco. In broad terms, my research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of land-use change, and the study of governance instruments for steering land use. During my stay at the Conservation Biogeography lab, I'll be working on a project that aims to describe the spatial and temporal patterns of agricultural abandonment and forest recovery in the South American Gran Chaco.
