About me
I am a visiting PhD student specializing in megafauna traits-mediated ecological dynamics. My work examines the role of large terrestrial mammals is sustaining the functioning of European wild ecosystems, notably in regards of ecosystem services provision such as biodiversity, climate stability, soil fertility for instance. I apply the concept of "learning from the past to better understand the future", therefore I frequently apply palaeocology with a prospective on restoration practices and rewilding policies. I generally combine information on fossil records, species distribution modelling outputs, and species ecological traits, with environmental features such as human-caused land-use changes and climate dynamics. I have also strong interest and some background in human-wildlife conflicts
