About me
I'm a PhD student at Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia and work in the SoMo project at the Humboldt University of Berlin. As I have studied physical geography and ecology, my research interests are between geo and life sciences, in general: biogeography, population and quantitative ecology, remote sensing and geoinformatics. I'm mainly interested in using different technological and statistical approaches to data sampling and analysis in the fields of Ecology and interdisciplinary research. The current research topics of my PhD project are habitat suitability, interspecific competition and niche overlap of mountain ungulate species in the Caucasus ecoregion.
During my stay in the HU Geography Department, I will be working on habitat distribution modelling for the mountain ungulate species in the Caucasus.
