About Jared

Jared is a PhD student at the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Mangement at the University of California at Berkeley (USA). He holds a BSc-Degree in Environmental Studies from Utah State University and a MSc-Degree in Ecology and Environmental Science from the University of Maine (USA). In his research, Jared is interested in the political ecology and social dimensions of land-use change, particularly how national-level policies effects forest-agriculture landscape change, using political-ecological theory and remote sensing tools.
