About me

I am fascinated by the space requirements and habitat preferences of Eurasian lynx (lynx lynx) in the Bohemian Forest Ecosystem. In my master thesis I concerned myself with evaluation of landscape fragmentation and connectivity in Šumava National Park and other patches of suitable habitat with emphasis on increasing lynx distribution. Last year (2017) I had a year-long scholarship in national park Bavarian Forest. My topic of project was about habitat selection by Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) in the Central Europe. A part from these aims attended in spring 2017 the lynx monitoring in national park. Currently I am working as a researcher at The Silva Tarouca Research Institute for Landscape and Ornamental Gardening in Prague (Czech Republic) and simultaneously I am co-coordinating the lynx monitoring within the 3LYNX project under the leadership of the Šumava National Park.
