Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences - Ecohydrology

Ecohydrology

The department of Ecohydrology investigates ecohydrological processes in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. We aim to increase our understanding of the interactions between hydrosphere and biosphere. To achieve this, we integrate field monitoring, laboratory and modelling approaches in teaching and research. A major focus is the sue of stable isotopes. Through Prof’ Tetzlaff’s position as Head of the Department of Ecohydrology at the Leibniz Institute for Freshwater Ecology and Inland fisheries (IGB) there exists a close collaboration in teaching and research.

For further information please see the official IGB ecohydrology website.
