In August 2003, I completed my secondary education at Kade Secondary School in the Eastern region of Ghana. Upon completion, I got admission to pursue the BSc Land Economy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana under the Less Endowed Students Scheme. Whiles at KNUST, I was the Sports Chairman and the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) Representative of the Department of Land Economy during the 2005/06 and 2006/07 academic years respectively. I completed the BSc Land Economy programme in June, 2008 as the third best student in a class of 101. Between August 2008 and August 2009, I got the opportunity to do my national service as a teaching and research assistant at the Centre for Land Studies and Department of Land Economy, KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana. During this period, I handled tutorials in Advanced Valuation and assisted lecturers in gathering data for research. From September 2009 to August 2010, I worked as a Community Valuer on the Newmont Akyem Mine Project in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
In September 2010, I was awarded a Postgraduate Scholarship to study MSc Urbanisation and Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), London, United Kingdom. I successfully completed the programme in December 2011 with a Merit. In October 2012, I was employed as a Lecturer at the Department of Estate Management of the then Kumasi Polytechnic (now Kumasi Technical University). From October 2012 to April 2016, I taught Introduction to Valuation, Principles and Practices of Valuation and Land Use Planning and Administration on the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme. I was also the Coordinator for Internship programme at the Department of Estate Management.
